On September 23rd, members of the Chinese Democracy and Human Rights Alliance and the U.S. Headquarters of the Federation of Democratic China (FDCUSA)attended a rally organized by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The event aimed to call for greater support for the establishment of a new secular democratic republic in Iran, oppose monarchy and theocracy, strongly condemn current Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian, and support Maryam Rajavi’s vision of a free Iran.
This event holds immense significance for us, a group of Chinese exiled politicians and anti-communist activists. We recognize that anti-freedom and anti-democratic forces around the world have long formed an alliance, colluding secretly and using all manner of despicable means to undermine world peace and order, aiming to perpetuate enslavement and domination. Therefore, the forces of freedom and democracy must unite to become even stronger. During this event, we witnessed firsthand the strength of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), which left a deep impression on us participants. We firmly believe that as long as we persevere and forge a stronger resistance alliance, even the most powerful authoritarian regime will eventually collapse.
